2001 150TXRZ ignition/spark problem
Long story short.. the motor is running on 3 cylinders. Starboard bank 1,3 & 5 do not appear to be firing. Have changed out the spark plugs, moved the coil from #1 to #2 and the problem stayed with cylinder #1. Based on the advice of a mechanic I also replaced the CDI module but that didn't fix the problem either.
Probably time to find a new mechanic, but now that the motor is 7 years old I am thinking that I will need to learn about it sometime. Any advice on the "brand" of repair or service manuals and troubleshooting ideas on the ignition problem would be greatly appreciated.
