50 hp 4 stroke poor acceleration

I had my carbs cleaned and balanced, but when I accelerate it hesitates and skips for 5 to 10 seconds then starts reving up. Give it a little more gas and same thing. Is this floats sticking or accelerator pump?

It sounds like it is still out of sync. check the service manual to make sure you use the right steps for that year model, the early F50 used different steps to sync carbs and accerator than later years

I had a 50 hp 4str. and did that. After long we found that on top of the top carb is a steel plate held with 4 screws if I remember correctly. If you lift that plate you will find a gasket and under the gasket some very fine injectors, make sure they get very good clean it will maybe solve your problem.
