What is the useful life of these filters? I have 85 hours on this one. I've had some problems that may indicate the possibility this filter is done for.
I have the F150TXR 63P. It failed to start one day and I found the bulb empty and would not pump up. After pumping the throttle while turning over it started and didn't give me any more trouble, that day. Now, it quits (when cold) when placed in gear. This motor has been to the dealer to see why the WOT RPM have fallen off from 6000 to 5500. Testing found no anomalies when ground tested. I'm waiting for an appointment with a factory tech to water test. So, now that these other issues have arisen, would it be a good idea to replace the Fuel/Water Separator filter?
