V Max 150 - idels at high rpm

I have a vmax 150 and when in neutral it idels at a high rpm, then when I shift into gear it ****s. Any help with the problem will be appreciated.

Scyn and Link. Check throttle cable adjustment, scyn and adjust carbs, if Hpdi model have it checked with computer diagnostic system.

where is the throttle cable adjustment, thanks for any info.

The control cable from control box where it connects to throttle on engine.

I adjusted it down to 7-8 rpm in neutral, then went full speed and back down to neutral and idle would not go back down it shoots up to 20-23. Any help out there.
