  • Pole setting on Tach

Hi, I have a LCD Marine Meter a few years old, not sure of the part #. I just hooked it up to my 1999 60hp 2 stroke Yamaha. (My first Yamaha !!) What pole setting should it be on, 4,6,8, or 12? Also which wires are for the trim? It also has oil level but that does not apply to this engine. I have figured out the tach wires (yellow, green, black) The other wires are green with white stripe and green with red stripe paired together, Im guessing these are the trim wires? Then there are 4 paired together, orange, black with white stripe, pink and gray.
    Thanks, for any help...

The pole setting is 6 pole. The connector with green wires is oil level indicators. The pink, grey and black are trim signal and the grey is overheat indicator.
