F225 Vapor Lock ?

Ok . Motor Runs Great Full/ Medium Throttle , Back Of To
Idle Speed Motor Shuts Of And Wont Restart With Out Pumping
Fuel Ball . Motor Is A 02-03 F225 W/207 Hrs Serviced @25hrs/
90hrs/waterpump And Service @150 Has Any One Had This Problem
There Is No Evidence Of Fuel Line Leaking Fuel , Mechanic Has Had
For Two Weeks And Test Run Twice Without Being Able To Duplicate Problem. This Has Only Happened 2 Times But Is Not Right. Thanks For Any Help . Wes C

There was a bulletin on a vapor recovery kit for the 02-03 F200-F225 motors. Have your dealer check to see if been updated.

Also make sure fuel tank is venting...Had a similar prob with a buddies boat and found it would run with the fuel cap loose. Replace the vent device (check valve) on tank vent tube and it worked fine ever since.
