    I have the 2200 bay ranger 06' w/ a 250 4 stroke yamaha also 06'
I'm looking for anyone who could shed some light on prop selection.
It has the original s.s.yama-prop 15"/23p 3 blade.
The boat is an absolute dog with this prop.
No hole shot at all, and 48mph on top end.
Havn't really recorded rpm's at different speeds, but would certainly
like to get out of the water a lot faster.
With 5 people it labors to get on plane.

    HELP ANYONE,
    Roy

Check the rpm's at wide open throttle with motor trimmed out. The operating range for that motor is 5000-6000 rpm's at wide open.

Recorded 5500 at top end, boat has hydr. jack plate and trim tabs. Have tried every combination of trim-------- still boggs out of the hole. Ranger reccommended a saltwater series ll 21 pitch, of coarse I can't find a marina who loans props, so if anyone has this boat/motor combo, let me know what your using.

        Thanks,
        Roy
