  • Yamaha Multifunction Tach

    This is a great site!

    I have a Yamaha Saltwater Series, 1999 S115TLRX..

My gauges have suffered the clouding of the lenses so I want to replace them.

I swapped the speedo a while back and now I am ready to replace the multifunction tach.

I have the Multifunction tach that say "TACH" at the top and has the Engine Overheat Alarm, Low Oil, Good Level, and High Level Designations on the bottom that are part of the meter housing (not LED). The right side is the trim indicator.

Will the new Multifunction tachs work with this wiring or do I need a new wiring harness?

    Thanks

6Y5-8350T-82-00 Multifunction tach will work with your engine and connect to your harness. Set the dip switches in back of tach to 3 wire trim sender, 12 pole alternator and 2 stroke engine.

      Thanks for the help!

What is the difference between the:

      6Y5-8350T-82-00

      And the

      6Y5-8350T-82-BK

I noticed you sell both on boats.net....

If there a difference in the harness?

      Thanks again!

The BK is a bulk package, 25 gauges per case. But is the same gauge.
