My friend blew his 94 225, he's in NJ and is looking for recommendations on rebuilders. He's considering shipping it to outboardrebuild.com. Does anyone know they're reputation or can recommend any others. Thanks in advance.

i blew a 200 hp last year...i got quotes from 3500 to 4k for a rebuild. looked at NEW factory OEM prices for my powerhead and was only $4165, for me it was a no brainer. shipped to my door AND no tax, from right here, Boats.net.

You will get a quote/ESTimate, theres no telling how much higher it can be till its cracked open.

I suck my 1986 90 hp yamaha outboard the other day, I started it tonight and it ran ok. After about three minuets the buzzer went off and the head felt hot. Any suggestions.
