  • Key choke

Hey guys, I don't have my book with me. Does the key on my remote throttle for my 2002 50 Yamaha have a choke on it? Does pushing the key in activate the choke?
Question 2 is what is the best stainless prop for a 17.5 foot G3 Bass boat. It weighs in at about 1,000 pounds. Seems to do alright with factory aluminum, but would like to smooth things out a bit. It just reaches 5100 rpm with everything perfect. I would like to have a solid 5200 and a little quicker to pick up to plane. Just don't like running it on throttle stops and trimed perfect to get 5100. Seems like that is loading the motor just a little more than it should be. Any thoughts??

The choke on key switch does not activate choke on your engine, it is a Prime Start engine which is a auto choke. You can drop one pitch size in prop(alum) and get a better hole shot and gain about 400-500 rpm,s at full throttle.
