    I have twin 1998 250 hp Yamaha EFI motors. I recently discovered I had water (not sure if it's salt or fresh) in my fuel that caused my secondary filters and vst filters to clog on both motors. Because I delayed removing the water and replacing the filters, it caused the fuel pumps to cease. When I finally cleaned the fuel and was up and running, the port motor, which had the power head replaced last year, was partially ceased from rust(?) and it took some effort to free it and get the motor started.

    I wasn't able to detremine if it was a piston or bearing that hung up, it seems to be running ok now and has equal compression in all cylinders. I'm concerned about the long term damage that may have occured. Any thoughts?
