68F-82553-80-00 discontinued??

Anyone know if there is another part number that replaces 68F-82553-80-00? A customer rep at Boats.net is telling me its discontinued and there is no replacement??? Does the "80" in the part number only signify cable length. I think i saw there is a similar part number with a similar description just its 16 feet. The p/n is 68f-82553-50-00.

Any help would be appreciated. I need to get my digital tach running with my 1991 Yamaha 115 TXRP motor and new 703 controls asap.

Yes there is a -70(7 meter), -80(8 meter) and a -90(9 meter).
We have been recommending the 8 meter because for some reason it was about 1/3 the price of the 7 meter. Now that the 8 meter is no longer available I would suggest the 9 meter(68F-82553-90-00) it is cheaper than the 7 meter.

Will the 50 (5 meter) work for me? It looks like it has a replacement part number listed though.
