I've got a pair of '03 F225's. The lower unit on one came off without a hitch. The second will not come down more than 1/8". I tried running it for 10 min. and tried again, to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
That could be tough on the four strokes, there is only a small area to get to upper end of drive to apply heat but it damage seals. You might want to let a dealer look at it, maybe they can get it off without much damage.
