Replace Water pump Question

I have replaced the water pump on my 1999 200 OX66 and would like to know if when I run it with the muffs on should water come out of the 2 small holes of the lower unit that are by the front bolt that holds the lower unit on.These 2 holes are on both sides and water comes out of of all 4 of them. Everyhting seems in order but I cannot remember if water always came out on each side .

Yes you will see water come out through the lower unit drain holes and exhaust.
