Tachometer lights

Once again thanks for all the help, the tach is mounted (with wiring harness), installed and gets a reading. Now one more question. When I turn on the tach the low oil and overheat light do not come on. I know sometimes the light turns on when the engine is first started then goes out, or in the accessory postion, but these dont. Are they broken or is it normal.
