  • Yamaha 115 Oil Pump missing parts?

I was dewinterizing my 115 HP 2 Stroke Engine and noticed a rod coming from the oil pump with just a bolt on it and not connected to anything. After looking at schematic looks as if the following parts are missing.
    90202-05088-00 - washer plate
    90468-05M03-00 - Clip
    6H1-41237-00-00 Joint link 2

Would this not be attached for some specific reason?

What is the function of this rod and lever?

      The motor was a 2004.
1st year it was only used 10 hrs by org. owner.
2nd year I used and winterized myself.
Just took off the silencer and sprayed fogging oil in the carbs.

Does this mean the lower carbs were not getting oil?

It depends on where the lever was positioned. its a injected motor so it has some oil going thru it at a idel did it smoke a littel if it did it was getting alot of oil at idel. what did the the plugs look like when took out. you will see a linlage going thru the bottom carb going to the control side to the pump side the linkage should just snap back in

plugs looked normal. I need to get the parts mentioned above and just snap back onto the brass fitting, correct. Right now all that is there is the rod with a nut on the end of it.
