I have a 2000 4-stroke 100 hp that is leaking a small amount of oil out of the water intake area. (where i connect the ears when I clean the boat)....any idea? Motor runs perfect except for the oil trail I leave behind.
It could be engine oil running down drive shaft leaking from oil pump or drive shaft seal. It could also be coming from water pump seals in lower unit.
