Yamaha prov 200 reed question

does anyone have a picture of the compled reed assembly.
the previous owner installed boyesen reeds on the motor
Does Yami have a metal hold down hat prevents the reeds from opening to far and does that need to be reinstalled with the boyesen reeds.

The stock reed assembly does have a metal restricter plate over the SS reed. But the Boyesen reeds do not require it and it is not installed over the Boyesen reed. Are you having any problems with your Boyesens or just curious?

Here is a picture of mine with Hydro Tec carbon fiber reeds installed. The install instructions were specific in making sure the metal reed travel stops are removed.
