Zinc vs. Aluminum Anodes

I've got a Yamaha F80 4stroke that just moved from Florida coast to a fresh water lake in upstate SC. I read somewhere you should use aluminum anodes in fresh water not zinc. Any opinions on this or am I fine with the zinc?
