2002 YAMAHA 15 HP

2002 YAMAHA STARTS GREAT,AND IDLES GREAT. HOWEVER WHEN I THROTTLE UP PAST 1/2 THROTTLE THE MOTOR APPEARS TO JUST SPIN.I CANNOT GET UP ON PLANE.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You might be under proped. What are your rpms when wide open?

Not sure on the rpm's.It is a 15 hp. Bought new. Never had a problem like this before. Changed plugs. Still have the problem.

Try to define your problem a little better. Are you saying that there is no change in the rpms from 1/2 to full throttle?
