  • Installing a water pressure meter,

I have a 1987 Yamaha 200 hp motor, I recently had a water temp meter installed and now want to install a water pressure meter. The instructions for the water temp meter states: Caution - NOTE that it is impossible to use the water temp meter when the water pressure meter is already installed. Does this mean that if I install the water pressure meter the temp meter will not work or vise versa.

Is it a Yamaha brand water pressure gauge you're trying to install? The metric fitting should screw into the top of the port side cylinder bank in that plugged off (pre drilled/threaded) 14mm hole there. If you had a Yamaha analog temperature gauge, it's sensor would go into the top of the starboard side cylinder bank's hole. But as long as you have the holes there you can use both gauges.
