  • '87 115 starting problem

My '87 115 had a bad fuel pump. I replaced it and while I was at it rebuilt the carbs. The motor runs and idles perfect, but it needs choke all the time now for starting. The first start of the day it takes quite a while for it to finally fire off and even after running for a couple hours and then shutting if off, I can't start it with out chokeing again(this is right after its shut down). This was obviously not the case before the rebiuld. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Not sure what "synce" refers to. I bought the rebuild kit, replace all parts, blew out jets with low psi air, replaced needle valves and adjusted floats, and replaced all gaskets. I did not adust any idle screws, thought if good before good now.

your gonna have to get a yamaha service manual to follow or take it to a dealer and ask them to do it.
