Winterizing Yamaha 115 four stroke (2003)

Does anyone know how to fog one of these Yamaha four strokes? The owners manual says to spray fogging into the silencer cover. I'm not sure that I even know what that is...

Another post out there said that for four strokes all you need to do is to put fogging oil in each cylinder and turn it over a few times. "No need to fog the intake".

I'm confused. Any help much appreciated.

We remove the air silencer here to fog, but spraying into plug hole and spinning over probably would work good too.
