4-stroke 2002 80 hp - Oil & Filter

New to the boating world, have purchase a 2002 pontoon with a Yamaha F80 TLRB - Stroke. Looking for opinion as to whether I truly need to be using the Yamalube Oil or whether a Penzoil or Quaker State is OK? Any opinion about using synthehic oil such as Mobil 1?
Does Fram make a Oil Filter for the Yamaha engines?
Should I change the Fuel Filter before winterizing or do it in the spring?

Yes, you can (and should) switch to synthetic oil such as Mobil-1.

Fram makes filters for many Yamaha motorcycles, many of which are the same as the filters on their outboards.
I was able to cross reference my oil filters (1997 T50 4-stroke) on their web site and picked up the filters at Checkers Auot Parts.
