• Which prop to buy?

I have a 200 50hp, not the t50, Yamaha outboard and am in search of a new prop. It powers a 14' Novurania RIB. The boat carries anywhere from two to five people. Used primarily for from here to there transportation and minority of time waterskiing. Only two are on the boat when used for waterskiing, it takes some work to get one up. When going out and coming back into dock rocks are watched out for. The fastest speed recorded by gps with two people on board is 32mph. An aluminum prop is what is on it sat the moment. The local dealer has recommended an Yamaha aluminum prop with a 13" pitch. I was thinking about a stainless steel one. One seen on a competitors website with an interchangeable hub looked interesting. Any thoughts?

atomic,
I will refer you to a prop expert - he is the Power Tech prop rep for Louisiana, and he's the best. Just tell him what performance you are looking for, and he will recommend the right prop.
You can reach him by e-mail: marcus@ptprop.com.
He will most likely give you his phone number.
Good luck ,
