Always wondered why no one came up with a crankcase oiling system like a 4 stroke for a 2 stroke. Obviously would have to be a completely new design but if the reeds and crankshaft were isolated and the exhaust ports redesigned I would think somehow possible.
Maybe someone did way back.....
