Whether or not the part you're ordering from boats.net is a SS #, when you order the part they send you the most updated part for the part number they have listed on website. It's kinda automatic, on their part. Requires no brainwork on your end.

Mercury parts are the worst.
8M0061875 punch that in.

Googled and got lots of hits. Googled and specified boats.net and got the typical serial number request page at boats.net. Mercury section is frustrating.

I was trying to have a look at their balancer shafts on the 3 liter 150. Finally just took a guess at serial range.
