Yam 225 4 stroke (2004), BIG smoke, start up

My 4 stroke has 107 hours on it and serviced by Yam techs. Twice on startup it has belched LARGE clouds of blue smoke for 15-25 seconds then smaller amount of smoke for 20-40 secons then fine. Subsequent start ups, no smoke. reported at 100 hr service, tech unable to duplicate installed a vapor recovery kit but that is for fuel vapors not OIL! 8-10 ours and several/many starts later does it for the second time. Any suggestions/ideas? Is this a know issue?
