Think I have it figured out

Checking all connections this morning and the bolt that holds down the pulser coil has worked its way loose almost falling out, I'm sure that would cause the codes etc

Challenge is getting it tightened w flywheel on, may have to remove to get to it

Something so simple but will be happy if this is it!

that engine uses one pulser coil to control base ign timing.
lose it and the default is the ex cam sensor.
you may have more than one issue.
