how to start and run 0X66

I need some help ... I have a 2001 SX250 OX66 that is on an engine stand. There are no controls or harnesses ... So how do I start the motor , Run the motor , and stop the motor .. ???? I Do have an extra key switch with a short (about 8" ) harness attached .. (keyswitch , kill switch , horn )

I couldn't tell you myself, but I just experimented with a search and there appeared to be a number of threads about this. Click on the search link, above. I entered "run engine on stand". Try that, or enter some other search criteria.

Connect a battery to the motor.

Jumper the red wire pin to the yellow wire pin in the ten pin connector.

Momentarily jumper the red wire pin to the brown wire pin in the ten pin connector. To crank and start the motor.

Jumper the black wire pin to the white wire pin in the ten pin connector. To stop the motor.
