If you are here in the USA then the manual that should cover your motor will be LIT-18616-01-94. It covered 1998 thru 2002 model year 30 HP two strokes. Yamaha US stopped offering the 30 HP model after 2002.Originally posted by gvp90000 View Post

The 30 HP was offered a bit later in Canada. You can check with a Canadian Yamaha outboard motor dealer to see if there is a later version of the SM. I kinda doubt it. Not many changes to that motor over the years.
