As for the part #, the 65W-14901-50 part # is not available anymore, just the
14380-00-00.

Simply copy and paste the part #'s (in the search parts box) and it'll show you
what's what, the latest part #, etc...

I spoke to boats.net tech support. Their explanation for the double items is you need the engine serial number along with the model number.

The F25TLRD used a part number 65W-14380-00-00 Primestart assembly. Still available today:

65W-14380-00-00 YAMAHA PRIME STARTER ASSY

Part number 65W-14901-50-00 was the original carburetor. The -50-00 was replaced by the -51-00. Still available today:

65W-14901-51-00 CARBURETOR ASSY 1

looks like you can get the whole carb for $300, does that include the prime start assembly?

It looks like it does as it is all inside the lines in diagram
you end up with some spare parts for just a few dollars more than the prime start assemble only.

what ever you do, do not do again what you did to the old prime start assembly to break it

Amen to that! I always make the job harder than it should be. I am considering going the new carb route for 40 bucks more I get a clean carb. Just gotta set the idle and float height. What could go wrong

You can easily sell your old carb for $40 On Flea Bay W/O the prime start.

Sounds like a no brainer, EVERYTHING brand new...
