PRV orientation

With the new design pressure relief valve which way does it go? Round mushroom part towards motor or the + towards motor?

Old style had + on both ends with longer + towards motor.

I would think that if the Xpiece went inside the spring and the mushroom part against the grommet, then the grommet will not/can not keep the PRV from closing/sealing off like the old ones did when grommet grabbed it

I bought the "new" style when I did some other maintenance for mine.

Posed the same question which RB replied the "new style" wears out. The original style will go indefinitely...

I put the old one back in and can give someone a great deal on a brand new one!
