Is it OK to use the 350 V8's Yamalube HD gear oil in a F250 V6? Also, is a 69J-13440-03-00 oil filter the same as a 69J-13440-00-00 filter? I'm hoping to use both the HD lower unit oil and the 03 oil filter in an F250.
not all F250 motors can use HD oil.
not all F250 motors can use the F350 oil filter.
Yamaha makes a real nice chart on what can and cannot be used.
I don't have one here at the house but I would recommend you slip by the dealership and eyeball it.
