Have a bunch of QUICKSILVER TCW 3 oil that I want to give to one of my Yamaha 2 stroke buddies now that I've switched to a 4 stroke. Has any one ran into issues using different TCW 3 oil.

The only thing I would stay away from is "el cheapo" TCW3. And even then, it's probably just a "feel good" thing on my behalf. Merc has good oil - totally fine with using what you have in the Yamaha.

Pennzoil TC W3 has been reported on many many occasions to burn better than Yamalube. Knowing that Quicksilver is really Mercury two stroke oil I would have no problemo whatsoever using it. Who knows more about two stroke motors than Mercury Marine?
