  • Yamaha hpdi inyector 2&5 don't work

I already bought another ecu & INYECTOR DRIVER.
I would like to know if the ecu is making this to control or governor the engine.
    Please help me!!!
    Thanks

    well lets see.
they made a 2.6L single injector driver.
they made a 2.6L twin injector driver.
and they made a 3.3L twin injector driver with a dual HP pump.
    what model is yours?
are you sure it is 2 and 5 and not 2 and 3?
what makes you think the injector is not firing?

      This is a Z200 HP. 2003.
I probe with a LED and there is no fire in both center cilinder.
I opened the only INYECTOR DRIVER and there isn't sign of failure.
The engine start good and keep running in idle but don't have power even to plane.
I suppose is governed for the ecu.

The ECU tells the injector driver when to fire a particular injector. Based on what a pulser coil is telling the ECU.

Have the pulser coils been inspected and verified to be working correctly?

Keep in mind that the wiring between the ECU and the injector driver has to be in good working order. The ECU can tell the driver anything that it wants to but if the driver does not get the message, guess what happens. Same thing between the pulser coil and the ECU.

          there is no governor.
there is an overspeed but that is ECU con*****ed.
have you checked the shift position switch?
it is recommended to use YDS to "see" what the ECU is "seeing"

if the ECU sees a crank signal and an ingear signal it limits RPM.
if the ECU never sees aan IN gear signal it cuts cyl 2&3,if RPM goes above 1500 and it still does not see an IN gear signal it cuts 2,3,5&6.
cyl numbers stbd top to bottom. 1 3 5.
cyl number port top to bottom 2 4 6.
that LED tester may or may not work.
it is a 90V peak for about 2.5 Milliseconds at idle.

Today, I found the neutral switch at the shift operator in the stb side of engine, was not working. I repaired and check many times and works good. We prove running plug and unplug the switch connector. There was a contrary sintom, little better when unplug! But steel the same problem. Cilinder 3&4 don't fire. I don't know if there are an other switch in the control arm sistem that the ecu reads to, because there is not the original control.
I can't find the electric diagram.
            I will appreciate your help.

about the only way to actually check driver voltage is with a voltmeter and a DVA adapter.
it goes from 0v to 90v and back to 0v in about 3ms at idle.
but without a correct pulser coil signal to the ECM you lose injection on that cyl.
the ecm provides the signals for the injector driver based on various sensor and switch inputs.

a look at it with a laptop can quickly eliminate potential issues.
it rarely finds the problem but it will narrow it down.
