  • New To Command Link- so I have questions.

Hi all. I recently purchased a 2006 boat with twin F250's. The boat came with the Command Link square gages. Both of the tach gages work as far as showing the RPM, the Trim Meter, and the multifunction display. My starboard gage I can toggle to other screens of the gage using the MODE button, like oil pressure, total hours, battery voltage. I am unable to toggle to these other screens on my port gage. Is this due to the fact that command link gages only display this info on one gage, or do I have something wrong with the port gage, or something wrong with the wiring? Any clues how I can troubleshoot to determine if it is the gage or the wiring?

Unlikely that there is a problem with either the gauge or the wiring, if you are seeing RPM then it is connected with the engine.

My guess is the gauges have been "customized" differently -

so you just need to change one (or both) to what you want.

Here is a link to the manual:

I bit the bullet and bought a new gauge. Everything works just fine now. I can toggle between the different screens. I guess the Mode button is busted.
