got power back Tuesday evening, got phone, internet and cable back last night.
no damage to my place but the rainwater flooding and wind damage to power lines was awesome.

how did the shop make out?
I believe it is Joes Marine, correct?

Friends are bringing a trawler down from NE corner of Maryland to Texas by ICW.
looks like as of yesterday evening they made it to Goose creek in NC.
long way to go to make it down to Freeport Tx

You sure Goose Creek is in NC? Thinking SC. Near such fine spots as Harleyville and Moncks Corner and such. They might be able to catch HS football **** in Summerville....

never heard of a goose creek.

              maybe farther south.

not much damage in the wanchese harbor.

              my boat almost sank.
I did get to spend 30-40 minutes in the most intense rain I have seen in 55 years.
it was raining faster than the scuppers could drain.

Yeah. Now that I actually stop and think. Goose Creek SC is probably 30 miles from the ICW

Did you get to bail with a bucket during that rain to keep it afloat?
Back in the late 70s we had two 100 year floods about 1 month apart down here in Freeport Tx.
I was glad I lived on the second floor in apartments back then

I do not know if this link will work to show the map, but here is where the boat and friends were a few days ago. Says Goose Creek close to were they were

had a 1500 GPH pump on the deck and me on the dock with a 5 gallon bucket.
and then the lighting started . was a fun night with no likker drinks.
leaf debris appearantly clogged one of the scuppers.
