C115 pressure valve

I am replacing the pressure relief valve on my 1994 115, the new valve has a rounded face the old one did not have, does the round face contact the grommet or the spring?

round face contact the grommet.
seat also a rubber grommet and has to be replaced, it is a kit: seat, valve, spring, all new type. corrosion grows under seat and seat deforms. caution has to be taken removing old seat grommet to prevent to push it inside.
