• SX150TXRY Battery going dead

I have a 2470cc pursuit with a pair of 150 yamaha and both engines are leaking to ground killing the batterys. This has been going on since new in 2000. The only way to keep them up is to disconnect them from the batterys.
The regulator was just replaced in the port engine and it still goes dead.

HELP

uboat,
The only power that should be present at the motor with the ignition switch off would be for the trim/tilt system and 12 volt to the starter relay.
Sounds like you may have bad ignition switches, but both at the same time would be unusual.
You could check the motor wiring with a voltmeter to see if power is being left on anywhere but the above mentioned with the ignition switch off.
Also, check power to the console gauges after ignition switch has been turned off.
You really need battery kill switches on both batteries anyway when motor is not in use - bilge pump power only if stored on the water.
Good luck ,
