I need a lower unit for my F300 UCA. Do I need a 25 or 30 "

30". U stands for ultra long. Meaning 30".

25" would be for aan XCA model.

Just an FYI, you can also look at the engine itself and see if you have that 5" "extension" section above the actual LU. They'll be another set of bolts securing it to the mid-section

That section, gives you another 5" (from 25"), thus a 30"

Thank you. I found my owners manual and found the correct part number. I indeed need a 30". Thanks for the replies
