I am just curious if anybody has a clue what size and pitch these came with from the factory.

The motor does not come from the factory with a propeller installed. The factory has no idea what size, weight or type of boat the motor will be installed on.
Either a boat builder or a dealer usually chooses the propeller that he thinks will work best. -
prop size
well I'm guessing mine didn't because they took the 25 2 stroke off and bolted the 40hp 4 stroke on that day at the lake...ill have to drive up there and go look then...any clue what I should have its a 16.5 alumnacraft lunker .. reted for a 40 max...I feel I should be able to go more than 30...mph my 25 I was able to go 25 mph...I just ordered a tach to see if I'm even reaching max 6000 rpm...it dosent sound like it to me....Comment

Here is a link to an Alumacraft Classic performance bulletin that has an F40 installed on it. They used an 11 5/8 X 11" pitch propeller.

Hopefully your propeller will have about a 9" pitch.Comment

I will update in a few days and then have some more questions..i am a Yamaha loyal...I have a dingy with a 15 two stroke a few years old, and a yfz 450 f wheeler and the above mentioned wheeler.. thanks a bunch ill keep yall updated... ill try and update my boat info also for some more inputComment
