Premix or oil injected?
Is there not an ID plate on the other side of the motor? -
40hp, its an outboard I'm thinking of buying, I'll ask the seller for a picture of the opposite side of the bracket. Its a 2 stroke long shaft listed as spares or repairs, seller said there was an electrical problem, he replaced the CDi but that didnt fix it, now he's selling it at below scrap price, this is in the UK.Comment

So is it not possible to tell where this outboard was made for (what market) or any other details from this id plate? Because thats what I really need to know, if it is a matter of looking for another plate with more familiar codes then thats easy for me but this is the only id numbers I have right now.Comment

by the PID "63D" and if motor was originaly bought in the UK I'm sure is a 40V
40VETO is my guess
Does it have a Electric start, power trim and autolube/precision blend/oil injected?Comment
