    There was a change in that part a long time ago. My ox66's are from 1999. I remember there being a recall of sorts on that part.

      Nick, so you're saying that this is the replacement for the older, "dumbell", looking one... but not the one that requires the o-ring/gasket?

        post a pic of the block where the O2 sensor mounts.
        there was a running change in 03 on the 3.1L engines.
        there was also a change in the draw tube design.

                I ran the engine in the water with the O2 sensor harness adapter. At 3,000RPM the volts jumped between .025 and .038 (thousandths were too hard to tell). At idle, it jumped more - .025 to .065. From what I've read here and the service manual, along with the stuff Boscoe graciously sent, that seems OK?

                  that's about what it does.
                  it is trimming the fuel.
