Painting the outboard

Hello,

I took my outboard for full service. It is running okay now. Mine is 2001 YAMAHA 250 HP 2 stroke. It's old and doesn't look appealing on my new boat. I was thinking about painting it . I know an electrostatic powder coating service and I was thinking about powder coating the outboard. Or, would it be better if I do spray painting. I want it to look aesthetic and durable. I would appreciate your suggestions on this.

I don't think electrostatic paint process would work on the fiberglass and plastic, an automotive base coat clear coat will give you your best finish.
