  • Oil Pump gear shaft to long.

I am trying to replace the the oil inject system on a '95 TXRT-130 removed by the previous owner.

I purchased a (6R3-11537-00) gear shaft and all of the other parts, but the gear seams to be to long. Is there a different part number that fits this motor? Do I have to press the gear into place?

    Thanks

That is the right gear you have to turn it until the teeth line up to get it to go all the way in. Do not force it, it might break the crank gear.

To late, I broke the one of the tangs off the end of the gear tapping on it. I have try to rotate and push it into place, but it is not engaging in the gear .This motor was rebult has a 099 stamp on the block above the computer. could there be a different part # if it is a newer block?

      Thanks

There is a gear on the crabkshaft that turns that shaft you are installing, they may have left the crankgear out when they rebuilt or it may be damaged.
