  • LZ200 HPDI blues!

OK, new to HPDI, having some issues, was wondering if you guys could maybe help out.
Changed EVERY filter on the damn thing, still bogging down around 3400, get up to only about 36-3800, won't go over that. I have 50# on the mid-pressure pump, replaced the two low pressure pumps, all the injector micro baskets are new, same thing with the high pressure pump and that other basket, they're new, still doing the same thing. I have Yamaha YDS on the way, so I have to wait a bit to see what the computer is saying. I was wondering what the pressure sensor, part #67H-82380-00-00 does? I unplugged it, didn't make a bit of difference as to how the engine ran. I was wondering if it should, or this is normal. I know the pressure sensor up on top, by the HP lines, when unplugged make the engine run poorly, but the other one didn't. Bad O2 sensor? I'm am ready to sink this thing!! Help!! Lol!!

why not simply buy the service manual ?

the HP can be monitored with a simple DVM.

a KV tester can check if all 6 plugs are firing when in gear.

if the shift position switch is bad you wont get much above 23-2500 RPM.

almost ALL the switchs/sensors can be tested/monitored with a simple DVM.
    YDS is just faster.
