trim electric motor 1990 150etld

Heres the issue.Bad brushes,motor works only when it is tapped on.It has rusted at the base and now my unit has water in it once again.
Specs 1990 150etld

Flat Spot On Reservoir Opposite Fill Valve Side.
does this meen flat spot on both front and back??If so this would be me.
I was able to make out the old part number on the one that is in there.It say pt6260.This motor is for a 70-90hp.Whats the meaning of this??

The proper motor SHOULD be pt609-1 should it not?

If you asking if a 70hp trim motor will fit a 1990 150 hp motor,No I don't beleave they are they same.

the part that is now on my trim unit says on the side of motor case 6260.My motor is a 1990 150etld.How could they have put this part on my trim unit?
