I have a 2014 200 HP Yamaha in line four and while traveling at 15 MPH I ran the prop into a shallow muddy shoal. The prop does not appear damaged howeve at low speeds the boat feels like it is dropping in and out of gear. The feel is random and inconstant. At higher speeds it feels ok. I removed the prop and the plastic shear inset looks good, the splines are fine and the runout on the shaft is perfect. Does anyone have any idea as too what could be causing this.

mark with a magic marker on the inner hub and outer hub of the prop, take it out for a good run on the river...then if marks are still lined up when you get back to the dock your prop is not spun....if it's spun then repair or replace it...
