starter rope 94 c25mlhs

Newbie to the forum thanks for any help!!!!

i have a 94 c25mlhs outboard yamaha list the starter rope for 120.00?? can i use any decent quality pull rope for this (which is less exspensive) The rope is the original. broke once already. can see spending the bucks for 5ft of i believe 3/16 or 5mm rope please give advise

If you go to a lawn mower shop, they usually have different, appropriate sizes. (Used specifically for that purpose).

I'd bring yours down there to match up. Honda uses a weird size you might want to peek at..
